You would need to buy a glass carboy for secondary fermentation and stuff for bottling. As far as I know you can’t make kegged wine.

most of the actual hardware will overlap for any kind of fermentation, though a few things will be more specific to each specialized field (beer, wine), but you have to measure specific gravity in any of it (hence the hydrometer), for example (though the ~scales~ for specific gravity vary somewhat from field to field)

Several basic items are there, but winemaking is usually a bit more involved than beer. If you want something that approaches the taste/quality of commercial products, that is. For a “rough and ready” beverage that will get you drunk, you’re set.

Just be sure you have a proper wine yeast at hand. Beer yeast cannot handle the higher alcohol levels associated with most wines and may lend off-flavours to the final product.

If the kit hasn’t been used much, yes. Plastic picks up hop acids, which could give your wine an off-flavor.

You will need a glass carboy for the aging part of the wine. Don’t use plastic for this; the wine will oxidize.

You’ll need potassium metabisulphite to sanitize everything. Don’t use beer sanitizers.

the kit would would work just fine. But you should not mix Beer and Wine Fermenting in plastics the oders can be hard to remove from the plastic products. Glass. no problem.
